We recently attended our first grievance mediation session with the Company in two years, a long overdue but highly productive step forward. This session resulted in significant progress, with four grievances successfully closed in favor of our pilots. Additionally, three grievances require follow up actions, and a few have been sent to arbitration. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

Please join us in welcoming Captain Dan Grimes as the newly appointed Executive Administrator (EA) of our Master Executive Council (MEC). As the MEC EA, Dan will assist the MEC with a broad range of subjects.

First Officer Brody Ludke-Hughes has resigned from his position as our LEC 190 first officer representative and MEC vice chair. We appreciate his time and service to our pilots.

Negotiations remain at a standstill, as no official dates have been set with the Company or mediators to resume discussions. Last Friday, the Company had an initial meeting with the new mediator, with an expected agenda of introductions and an opportunity to bring our newly assigned National Mediation Board (NMB) mediator, Jack Stephan, up to speed on its side of the negotiation process.
